Turabian Style is named after Kate Turabian, who wrote a style guide while working as a dissertation secretary at the University of Chicago. This style is based on the University of Chicago Press’s Manual of Style. This style is intended for research papers that are not intended for publication. Please refer to our Recommended Readings page for articles that compare Chicago to Turabian.
